About Sawn

Published Last updated

Sawn (صَوْن) is an operations platform for maintenance requests over WhatsApp, built for property and facilities teams in Saudi Arabia. It takes a request from a WhatsApp message, suggests AI classification, and helps supervisors dispatch technicians and follow through to close.

What Sawn does

Sawn keeps the maintenance path in one place: WhatsApp intake, draft requests with AI-suggested summary/specialty/priority, technician assignment by specialty and availability, and follow-up through accept, decline, and no-reply — without extra apps for residents or technicians. Short answers are also in the FAQ.

Who built Sawn?

Sawn was created by Alhanouf Alghayhab (الهنوف الغيهب) — developer and operator of the product, based in Riyadh. Sawn is one of the personal products she builds and runs herself, alongside others such as Istifa and Wajjih.

Her background combines full-stack web development with ERP business-process understanding, system integration, and practical AI/LLM integration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.
  • Hands-on Oracle ERP experience (SQL and PL/SQL) from her time at Ejada, plus freelance work building custom web systems and management platforms.
  • Based in Riyadh and serves clients and projects across Saudi Arabia, including remote work.
